Payments by cash, bank card, MobilePay, Epassi, Smartum and Edenred. Registration is valid when the participation fee has been paid.
Note! If you pay with a sports benefit (Epassi, Smartum, Edenred), your participation will be confirmed manually at the Mikkelin Hiihtäjät office, once the sports benefit operator has confirmed the payment. This will cause a slight delay. After this, your name will appear on the participant list.
LATE REGISTRATION
Late registration is possible at the competition office on Saturday, February 14th, from 7-9 am. Payment by cash, bank card, MobilePay or Edenred, E-passi and Smartum application by selecting Mikkelin Hiihtäjät / Savonia Hiihto as the payment location and presenting a receipt for payment.

LOCATION
The competition center is located at Saimaanportti Comprehensive School, which has sufficient facilities for parking, the competition office, maintenance, food and the finish area.
ROUTE
40 km, 20 km and 10 km.
TEMPERATURE LIMIT
-20° C. The competition's jury council will meet one hour before the start of the competition. If it is above -20° C, the competition may not start normally and must be postponed by one hour or more.

PARKING
There are parking areas near Saimaanportti Comprehensive School. Follow the signs and traffic controllers.
EQUIPMENT STORAGE
A numbered equipment bag will be provided by the competition office when you pick up your race number. The equipment bag can be left in a marked area near the starting point under the supervision of the organizers.
SERVICE
Sports drinks, juice, water, raisins and pickles will be available at the service points. Juice will be available at the finish line.
USE OF YOUR OWN SPORTS NUTRITION
Please make sure that if you use your own gels, bars or marmalades, etc., plastic waste will be carried to the finish line with you or you leave them in the trash at the service stations. No trash will be left on the terrain!
TIME TIMING
Savonia Hiihto timing is based on timing chips. The timing chip is installed in a disposable number tag. You will receive a number tag from the competition office when you register for Savonia Hiihto during the competition office's opening hours. Note! The timing chip is only activated when passing through the starting gate.
RESULTS
Real-time results at the races. You can find the results on the website in the "results" section. Unofficial results can be seen near the competition office.
PRIZES
Each participant who reaches the finish line will receive a Savonia Hiihto medal. The medals will be awarded immediately after the finish line. There will be a raffle for prizes among all participants.
NUMBER RETURN
In Savonia, paper numbers with a chip are used. The skier can keep the number.
WASHING
After skiing, participants have the opportunity to wash, which is included in the participation fee.
MEALS AT THE FINISH
A meal is arranged for skiers at the Saimaanportti Unified School, which is included in the participation fee. The public also has the opportunity to eat for a fee.
DISMISSAL OF SKIING
The Judges' Council has the right to disqualify a skier and remove the skier from the track if he does not follow the rules or the instructions given. The skier is automatically disqualified if the skier skis with a number other than his own starting number or if he does not have a microchip properly attached.
JUDGES' COUNCIL
The Skiing Judges' Council consists of the FIS Technical Director (TD), the TD Assistant and the Race Director. The judges' council has yellow identification vests.
PROTESTS
Protests for the top 20 must be made in writing within half an hour (30 minutes) of the winner's finish, and for other participants within half an hour of the last skier's finish.
DOPING TEST
The Finnish Anti-Doping Commission has the right to conduct doping tests on skiers.
LOST ITEMS
You can ask about lost items at the competition office. You can also deliver found items there. After skiing, you can ask about lost items at the Mikkeli Hiihtäjät Office, tel. 044 2425154. Savonia Hiihto stores lost items for three months.
CANCELLATION
If skiing has to be canceled due to particularly difficult conditions or exceptional circumstances, the organizers reserve the right to withhold 50% of the fee.
Cancellation of the competition will be announced by the organizer through the media and on the Mikkelin Hiihtäjät homepage.
A skier who cancel participation himself will not be entitled to a refund of his entry fee, unless the cancellation take place before January 31, 2026, when 50% will be refunded.
If skier falls ill could be refunded 50% of the entry fee after the competition if a medical certificate is submited. In case of illness, skiing can also be postponed to the following year, in which case the refunded 50% of the fee will be transferred to the following year's competition fee. Refunds will be paid in March.
DROPPING OUT
If you need to suspend the competition, contact the nearest service point. Tell you are stopping the competition and return the race number to the competition staff.
RESPONSIBILITY
The participants will ski on their own risk. We ask participants to stay calm and organized at the point of departure. Take special care at departure and in the first kilometer.
OTHER NOTES
The organizers may use the skiers e-mail addresses for direct marketing purposes.
We reserve all rights on our pictures and video records taken during the skiing.
