LATE ENTRY

Post-registration on Friday 12.2., 12-8 pm and Saturday 13.2. for the classic 6.30-7.30 and for the skating 7-9. Payments in cash, debit card, Edenred, E-pass, Eazybreak, Smartum, cultural or sports vouchers. Registration is valid once the entry fee has been paid.



LOCATION

The competition center is located on the ME-racetrack, which is part of Kalevankangas and has sufficient space for parking, competition office, maintenance, waxing, restaurant, start and finish areas. Address: Raviradantie 22, Mikkeli



ROUTE

The ski trail runs through varying terrain in Ottawa, Kalevankangas and Karkialampi with a city-maintained trail.

COMPETITION OFFICE

The competition office is open at Ravirata, Raviradantie 22 on Friday 14.2., 12-8 pm and Saturday 15.2. at 7am. You can contact the competition office during the event- tel. 040 412 3445 or 044 242 5154.



STOPWATCH

The chronograph of Savonia Skiing is based on timing chips. The stopwatch chip is mounted on a disposable license plate. You will receive a license plate when registering for Savonia Skiing during the opening hours of the race office. ATTENTION: The stopwatch chip is activated only when passing through the output port.



SCORE

Real-time results at the competition. You can find the results through the web pages in the "results" section. Unofficial results can be seen near the race office.



AWARDS

Each competitor who gets to the finish will be awarded with Savonia Skiing medal. The medals will be awarded immediately after the finish. Subject awards will be given to all participants.



SKI WAXING

Savonia Skiing waxing service is provided by Rex Kilpatalli. Available in three different levels of waxing, from basic to racing powder waxing (20-60 €).

All customers of the waxing service get the Rex tube scarf free of charge.

The waxing service is located on the Ravirata, downstairs.

Accepting skis is starting at 10 am on Friday 12.2. Skis can be picked up on Saturday morning.

Pre-registration for waxing at latest 9.2.2020, 6 pm by e-mail savonia (at) mikkelinhiihtajat.fi. Payment in cash only!



NUMBER RETURN

Paper numbers with a chip will be used. The skiers can keep the number for themselves.



SAUNA AND SHOWER

After skiing, participants will have the opportunity for sauna and shower as part of the entry fee.

The women's sauna is downstairs on the Ravirata. The men's sauna is located in the Mikkelin jäähalli.



FOOD FACILITY

Skiers will receive a meal included in the entry fee in the restaurant downstairs at the Ravirata.



DISQUALIFICATION

The jury has the right to reject skiing and remove the skier if they don’t follow the rules or instructions given. Skiing will be automatically rejected if the skier is skiing with a different departure number or if they don’t have the microchip properly attached.



THE COUNCIL OF THE JUDGE

The ski jury consists of a FIS technical expert (TD), a TD assistant and the competiton director. The jury has yellow vests.



OBJECTIONS

Objections in the top 20 must be written within 30 minutes after the winner finishes. The other participants can object within half an hour after the last skier finishes.



DOPING TEST

The Finnish Anti-Doping Commission has the right to conduct a doping test for skiers.



LOST AND FOUND

Missing items can be requested from the competition office. You can also drop there the stuff you find. After the competition, you can ask for lost items at the Mikkeli Hiihtäjät Office tel. +358 40 412 3445. Savonia Skiing will keep the lost items for three months.



CANCELLATION

If skiing has to be canceled due to particularly difficult conditions or exceptional circumstances, the organizers reserve the right to withhold 50% of the fee.

Cancellation of the competition will be announced by the organizer through the media and on the Mikkelin Hiihtäjät homepage.

A skier who cancel participation himself will not be entitled to a refund of his entry fee, unless the cancellation take place before January 31, 2021, when 50% will be refunded.

If skier falls ill could be refunded 50% of the entry fee after the competition if a medical certificate is submited. In case of illness, skiing can also be postponed to the following year, in which case the refunded 50% of the fee will be transferred to the following year's competition fee. Refunds will be paid in March.



DROPPING OUT

If you need to suspend the competition, contact the nearest service point. Tell you are stopping the competition and return the race number to the competition staff.



RESPONSIBILITY

The participants will ski on their own risk. We ask participants to stay calm and organized at the point of departure. Take special care at departure and in the first kilometer.



OTHERS

The organizers may use the skiers' addresses for direct marketing purposes.

We reserve all rights on our pictures and video records taken during the skiing.
